This calculator is meant to give a good approximation of your payback period for the FieldBee products. It is based on FieldBee experience and academic papers published on the subject of RTK autosteer efficiency. It was compiled and monitored by a farmer and expert in agricultural machinery and precision agriculture.
The calculator takes into account seed and yield prices which are updated periodically yet may vary from current prices. Similarly, input prices per country are taken into account but may vary from what you actually pay as your farming practices may differ from the ones we use in the calculation.
Amount of accuracy gains as dependent on terrain type and in-row operation may also somewhat vary according to the actual conditions of your farm (e.g. soil type, slant gradient, operation types and operation count per growing season).
We believe the assessment for investment payback period which is the output of this calculator will be within an approximately 25% margin of error from the actual savings you can calculate if you hired an adviser to analyse the particular situation in your farm. FieldBee means this tool to be of service to farmers and dealers yet it assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of the calculation.
